packaging. The Jewels album is the result of an experiment, which led the band back into
hidden niches of the Einstürzende Neubauten universe into those corners which have
remained in the dark or have been forgotten despite two decades of restless movement.
Initially, these miniatures were conceived only as download presents for the supporters of
neubauten.org. Consequently, the time spent was limited; and the Neubauten sought after a
creation process, which would develop the necessary dynamics. In this context Blixa
Bargeld devised an unsystematic, Neubauten-specific deck of cards that became a game and a
navigation system. Every card made a cryptic reference to elements of what the Neubauten
have created over the last 28 years, including the instruments, materials and structures,
with references to verse or chorus, intro and outro, middle section, social relationships

EAST OF EDEN - SNAFU $45.95
Clearly the better of East Of Eden albums, this second album is a much proggier statement
than Mercator Projected, but it is still plagued with imperfections but none are glaring.
The sound is rather different but is also tighter (different rhythm section), but the
three frontmen Arbus, Caines and Nicholson are still there. ?Snafu? is almost a jazz
album, deeply rooted in the avant-garde ? with it?s Charles Mingus cover version, some
tracks that play backwards etc. It?s what the British press would?ve once called
?jazz-tinged?. And they had the bottle to pull singles from this album!
FLEETWOOD MAC - MR WONDERFUL $45.95
Vinyl LP pressing. Many people felt disappointed by Mr. Wonderful after the sublime first
album. But in interviews Peter Green has stated the purpose of the album was to recreate
the sound of a south side Chicago Blues club. Raw and rough, the album does just that.
Some fantastic guitar and great off-color lyrics too. The horns are sloppy and perfect for
the songs done on this album. And it's easy to see why B.B. King himself thought so much
of Peter Green. Timeless.
FOREST - FULL CIRCLE $45.95
This album has both brutal and beautiful elements, and the raw acoustic tunes create weird
and very enchanting music. There are much medieval influences here, but the overall
aesthetics are not luckily very idealized or fantasy related, but sincere and realistic,
filled with mystery, misery and violence. Music is peaceful but partly disturbing too.
"Bluebell? was quite good track, and the last song "Autumn Childhood" is
very weird with strange rhythm changes and several parts. ?The Midnight Hanging of A
Runaway Serf? was also quite affecting in it?s brutality and realism.
"Graveyard" is also very beautiful and quite accessible song, but maybe best of
them all is ?Gypsy girl & Rambleway?, describing a love affair with very raw medieval
sounds. Highly recommended!

musical units of modern Jazz. During their nearly thirty years of existence, the Jazz
Messengers have boasted some of the most renowned figures of the genre. The mid-'60s
formation heard and seen on this previously unissued Italian performance also features an
all star lineup, with Freddie Hubbard on trumpet, long-time Messenger Wayne Shorter,
trombonist Curtis Fuller, pianist Cedar Walton and bassist Reggie Workman. On drums, of
course, we have the leader, the inimitable Art Blakey acting as a true engine throughout
the performance. With the exception of Workman, the rest of the group had been playing
together since mid-1961 (Jymie Merritt was the bassist until mid-1962). Thus, by the time
of this concert they were already a well-rehearsed unit. The program includes four well
known standards plus a Wayne Shorter composition ("Children of the Night") and a
Cedar Walton tune ("Mosaic"), both of which had first been recorded in the

Colosseum released five albums between 1969 and 1971. The world?s first ever Jazzrock
group toured non-stop for nearly three years. The band finally broke-up after enjoying
chart success in several countries. Twenty three years later, in 1994, Colosseum literally
picked-up where they had left off, went back on the road again, played more than 60 dates
Europe wide, and issued the "Lives Reunion Concerts 1994" album and video.
During the tour, they began writing and demoing songs for a new album and the resultant
"Bread & Circuses" was released in 1997. Further European touring activity
took place as Colosseum re-awakened old fans and gained new support through the sheer
quality of their songs and musical showmanship. In 2003, the band released a new studio
album, "Tomorrow?s Blues" which stands as the final Colosseum recording to
